Cub Scouts Offer Holiday Cheer

Cub Scout Pack 270 spent their December pack meeting creating more than 50 holiday cards for residents of the assisted living facility Maplewood of Newtown.

The boys used a variety of materials to create holiday cards for the residents of Maplewood. Once the cards were complete, uniformed Scouts delivered them. The activity was led by Den Leader Dan Lounsbury.

“Having a small group of scouts available to deliver the cards that our whole pack put together really wrapped up the whole activity nicely, and brought some cheer to both the residents at Maplewood and the Cub Scouts,” said Assistant Cubmaster Jon Miller. “Bringing holiday joy to others is what it’s all about.”
