A Loving Journey Made
Cynthia âCindyâ Svirsky Moran, 64, of North Haven, formerly of Sandy Hook, died March 8, after a brave battle with emphysema and lung cancer. She was born in Dorchester, Mass., December 2, 1946, to Grace (Martinkus) and William Svirsky. She is survived by her daughters Lee, of Lake Worth, Fla., and Deb, of Southbury; her brother, Bill Svirsky, and wife Betty, of Surprise, Ariz.; her sister, Susan Bottomley of Newport, R.I.; eight nieces, one nephew, and many cousins. She also leaves her loving companion Ray Jamilkowski and his grandson, to whom she was âMimi,â and her dear friend, Fran Rogers.
Ms Moran and her family wanted to thank the wonderful caregivers she met along the way at St Raphaelâs, Gaylord Hospital, and Connecticut Hospice. She touched the lives of many people along her journey.
Friends are encouraged to attend a celebration of her life Saturday, March 12, at the Purchase Brook Firehouse, 100 Stillson Road, Southbury, from 3 to 6 pm.
