Collision In Sandy Hook

Firefighters from Sandy Hook stand by as Newtown Police completed their investigation of a one-car collision that occurred about 6:20 pm on December 8 near the intersection of Church Hill And Glen Roads. A police supervisor at the scene reported that the driver apparently lost control of his Chevrolet sedan while heading southbound on Glen Road, crossing into the opposing lane before ramming into a stone wall. The impact injured the unidentified driver who was transported to Danbury Hospital by Newtown Volunteer Ambulance volunteers. —Bee Photo, Voket
