To the Editor:

It is with great honor and respect that I am writing to endorse John Kortze, the incumbent for the Board of Finance. I have known John for over ten years and have developed a high level of respect for him. John has been a trustworthy and dedicated friend, and he and his family are part of the reason why I have come to love Newtown. His dedication and passion for the continued well-being and prosperity of Newtown is unquestioned.

John has lived in Newtown for over 25 years and has chosen to raise his family here because of his love for the town. John cares about the future of Newtown, takes his position on the Board of Finance very seriously and is particularly focused on the town’s fiscal responsibility. His long track record of public service on the Board of Finance is a testament to his level of dedication and concern for the future of Newtown. While John is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in finance and town business, he is extremely open-minded, engaging in open discussion and idea sharing, and values the opinions of others. I wholeheartedly endorse John Kortze as an experienced, intelligent, and dedicated true Newtowner, for the Board of Finance.
