Michael Edward Hydeck, Sr
Michael Edward Hydeck, Sr, 88, of Trumbull, died November 10, at St Vincentâs Medical Center, Bridgeport. Mr Hydeck was born in Taylor, Penn.
His beloved wife Dorothy Kanuck Hydeck of Trumbull; five children and their spouses, Mark and Cathy Hydeck of Newtown, Michael Hydeck and Patricia Bocian of Stamford, Lynn and David Pangburn of Oxford, Robert Hydeck of Trumbull, and Ronald and Michelle Hydeck of Milford; four brothers and sisters, Romayne Koerner, Irene Slagan, Emily Ponas, and Steve Hydeck, all of Pennsylvania; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews survive Mr Hydeck. He was predeceased by his brother Joseph Hydeck.
Mr Hydeck served in the Merchant Marine in World War II from December 7, 1941, to August 15, 1945. He was the proprietor of Hydeckâs Hardware in Bridgeport and Trumbull.
He was an avid golfer and a member of Tashua Knolls Golf Club. He also was a member of the Valley Squares Square Dance Club.
 Friends and family are invited to greet the family Sunday November 18, at 1 pm, and attend a memorial service immediately following, at 3 pm, at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will be private.
