Kristen Thompson to Jayson Foland

Kristen Thompson of Cicero, N.Y., daughter of Robert and Nori Thompson of Pawleys Island, S.C., formerly of Newtown, announces her engagement to Jayson Foland, son of Gene and Lawrena Foland of Brewerton, N.Y.

The future bride graduated from Newtown High School in 1993 and SUNY Oswego in 1997. She is employed as a third grade teacher by Central Square Schools.

The future groom graduated from Faith Heritage in Syracuse, N.Y. in 1991, Onondaga Community College in 1993, and SUNY Oswego in 1996. He is employed by Foland Sales, Inc as a salesman.

An August 4 wedding is planned.
