Marilyn F. Mulcahy 59, of Niantic, died Wednesday at Mariner Health Care at Bridebrook, East Lyme.

She was born in New York City December 10, 1945, the daughter of Morgan and Frances Flannigan O’Brien. She was the wife of Robert Mulcahy.

Mrs Mulcahy had lived in Newtown and Southbury before moving to Niantic.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, Joseph Mulcahy of Naugatuck, a daughter, Eileen Hains of Cary, N.C.; and two grandchildren, Caillah and Ryan Hains.

The funeral will assemble at 10:15 am Saturday at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons East Lyme Funeral Home, 48 Grand Street, Niantic, and proceed to a Mass of Christian Burial in St Agnes Church at 11 am. Interment will be private. Calling hours are Friday from 2 to 4 pm, and 7 to 9 pm..
