Helene         Fitzgerald

Helene Kollar Fitzgerald, 87, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late William T. Fitzgerald, died on March 5 at Bridgeport Hospital.

Mrs Fitzgerald was born in Bridgeport, and was a lifelong resident. She was a self-employed domestic cook.

Survivors include four sons, Joel Fitzgerald of Sandy Hook, William T. Fitzgerald II of Norwalk, James E. Fitzgerald of Westport, and David A. Fitzgerald of Stratford; two daughters, Karen Fitzgerald and Helene McDowell, both of Bridgeport; one brother, John Kollar of Trumbull; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held March 10 in the Larson Funeral Home, 2496 North Avenue, Bridgeport. Burial was private at the convenience of the family
