Every Penny Counts

To the Editor:

My daughter Mackenzie and I would like to thank customers at Your Healthy Pet for continuing to donate “Pennies For Paws” in the decorated coffee can placed at the store last August.  Owners Tom and Mary Kay, thank you for allowing a child to see that it’s worth the effort to try raising funds for Newtown’s new animal shelter.

Our second collection resulted in an additional $37 being donated to Canine Advocates’ building fund, for a total so far of $104.  Every penny counts!
