Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded to 35 calls during the period of June 24-30.
There were 17 medical calls, 13 trauma calls, and five standby/other calls.
The medical calls included seven respiratory, four cardiac, and six miscellaneous medical. There were six vehicular trauma calls and seven non-vehicular.
Twenty-two persons were transported to the hospital; 13 were not transported.
The calls involved three youths ages 9 to 12; 15 ages 22 through 60, and 17 over 60 years old. There were 16 males and 19 females.
Five calls were between midnight and 8 am; 19 between 8 am and 4 pm; 11 between 4 pm and midnight.
