Danzinger Promoted By Coldwell Banker

STAMFORD — Newtown resident Beth Danziger, a real estate professional for 15 years, has been named senior vice president for the Connecticut region of Coldwell Banker Connecticut/Westchester. Announcement of her appointment was made by Peggy Doepper, the company’s president and chief operating officer.

Coldwell Banker Connecticut/Westchester is headquartered in Stamford. Ms Danziger will oversee the operations of the company’s 16 Connecticut offices in Fairfield, Litchfield, and New Haven counties.

Prior to her promotion, Ms Danziger was manager of the company’s Ridgefield office for three years. Under her supervision, the office maintained number one market share in town and was designated a Premier office by Coldwell Banker in recognition of exceptional team performance in sales volume and referrals. Ms Danziger has been named to Coldwell Banker’s President’s Council for Managers for three years standing. Reserved for the top 100 office managers nationwide, this award is based on high standards in leadership, customer satisfaction, referrals, and sales volume. In addition, Ms Danziger was selected as one of 17 managers nationwide to participate in a Coldwell Banker model manager study.

Beth Danziger began her real estate career in 1986 as a sales associate for William Raveis Real Estate. Over a period of ten years, she worked in the company’s Cheshire, Middlebury, and Newtown offices. In 1996, she assumed a management position at William Pitt Real Estate and opened the company’s office in Newtown.

Before entering the real estate field, Ms Danziger worked in library management and re-search for ten years. She was a PhD candidate at Columbia University’s School of Technology and Information Science; holds a master’s degree in library and information science from Pratt Institute; and a bachelor of arts degree in speech communications from the University of Connecticut in Storrs.

Ms Danziger is a ten-year resident of Newtown. She is married to Dr Henry K. Danziger and has two daughters, Alexis and Emily, who are attending college. She is a past president of the Newtown Garden Club and a former board director of the Ridgefield Board of Realtors and Rock Ridge Country Club.
