Bethel Library Weekend Book Sale

BETHEL — The Friends of Bethel Public Library will host the group’s annual book sale on Saturday, September 15, and Sunday, September 16, under a tent on the library lawn. The library is at 189 Greenwood Avenue. The sale will run from 10 am to 4 pm each day.

Well over 10,000 books on almost any subject will be available for sale, from mysteries to histories, cookbooks to kids’ books, science to science fiction, and arts and crafts to gardening.

This year the sale will also feature some books signed by the authors, some first editions, and some special older books.

Paperbacks are 50 cents each or three for $1, with a few exceptions. Hardcover books will be individually priced. On Sunday, prices will be cut in half.
