Women’s Hoop

The Newtown Women’s Basketball League at The Gym at Newtown will begin forming teams on Tuesdays, October 18 and 25.

Open play on those two nights from 6:30 to 9 pm will help establish teams. Regular season play is slated to begin on Tuesday, November 1. To register a team or to be put on a team, call The Gym at 426-8591 or Karen Katrinak at 364-0239.

The league is limited to six teams. Games will be played every Tuesday at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 pm.

There is a fee to join, but the fee is reduced for members of The Gym.
