Wallet Stolen On Old Bethel Road
Police are investigating a crime that occurred on Old Bethel Road in which a young woman walked into a elderly manâs house while the man was home and stole his wallet.
On January 25, the 79-year-old man reported to police that at about 8:30 am on January 24, the woman entered his home through an unlocked door.
When the man came into contact with the woman, she told him that she was a pet sitter and that she had entered the wrong house for her work, after which she left his home, police said.
The man told police that he later discovered that his wallet was missing. The wallet contained $72, a credit card, various other cards, and identification.
Police described the woman as being white, in her 20s, with brown hair, and about five-feet, eight-inches tall.
Police said that another Old Bethel Road resident reported seeing the woman in question driving a gray automobile.
