Correction

In a February 8 article about Newtown Resident Dr John Murphy being appointed as president of Danbury Hospital, The Bee incorrectly reported that his transition to that position had already occurred. The hospital clarified this week that Dr Murphy will be assuming his duties sometime in the next five years. The hospital plans to see Dr Murphy transition to an executive vice president role by summer 2008, and then move to the president’s desk in three to five years.
