Patricia Lincoln Spencer
Patricia Lincoln Spencer
Sweet, Generous, And
Considerate Of All
Patricia Lincoln Spencer of Melbourne, Fla., and previously of Easton, died December 8. She was born in Mineola, N.Y., April 28, 1936, to Grace and Owen Lincoln, and grew up in Manhasset, Long Island, N.Y.
Her husband of 51 years, Reid C. Spencer; four children, including Peter Spencer and wife, Jamie of Newtown; a sister; seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews survive her.
The Spencers raised their four children in Easton. Her family especially enjoyed many years of skiing in Vermont. She spent the last ten years of her life in Suntree, playing golf with her husband and many friends, and enjoying visits from her children and grandchildren.
She was a quiet, considerate, sweet, and generous person who loved her family and friends. Despite several health problems, she never complained. She always put the welfare of her husband and family above her own. Her children and grandchildren so reflect her many wonderful personal traits.
There will not be a public memorial service. A memorial website has been set up at: www.ilasting.com/patriciaspencer.php. The family encourages all to visit the site and leave any messages or thoughts.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org, or to the American Red Cross at www.redcross.org.
