Sandy Hook Crash

Police report motorist Robert W. Fiorillo, 17, of 46 Algonquin Trail was driving a 1988 Chevrolet Camaro southbound on Lakeview Terrace near Gelding Hill Road about 4:40 pm November 2 when he swerved to avoid an oncoming vehicle, but in doing so, he lost control of the auto and went off the road, striking a tree. Police said Fiorillo was not injured.

Three SUVs

Police report that three sport-utility vehicles were involved in an accident at the intersection of South Main Street and Country Club Road about 5 am November 3.

The accident involved Deborah Fehey, 43, of Richmond, Va., who was driving a 1998 Ford Explorer; Rosemary Savo, 48, of 17 Pebble Road, who was driving a 1999 Jeep Wrangler; and Naomi Bonsignore, 46, of 9 Yogananda Street, who was driving a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee. There were no injuries. Police issued Fehey a written warning for making a restricted turn.
