Sidwell Completes Basic Training

Air Force Airman First Class Daniel A. Sidwell graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. He is the son of Felicity Sidwell of Hi Barlow Road, Newtown. Airman Sidwell is a 2002 graduate of Newtown High School, and earned a bachelor’s degree in 2007 from the University of Connecticut, Storrs.
