Mad Laxers Win Long Island Tourney

The Newtown U13 Mad Laxers lacrosse team won the Long Island Tournament at Hofstra University this past weekend.

Playing in a hot bed of the nation’s best lacrosse, the Mad Laxers turned up the heat to go undefeated in their age bracket. Newtown won three games en route to the title. The Mad Laxers earned commanding wins over Massapequa N.Y., 10-1; Rockville Center, N.Y., 5-2; and the North Shore, N.Y. Warriors, 7-2.
