Frederick J. Simondet

Frederick J. Simondet, 95, of Xenia, Ohio and formerly of Newtown, died July 8 at Trinity Community of Beavercreek, Ohio.

Born in New York City, Fred was a Newtown resident for more than 30 years. He was a retired vault officer with the Chase Manhattan Bank, and a member of the Masonic Order Aspetuck Lodge.

Fred was predeceased by his beloved wife, Laura Kaechele Simondet, and is survived by his devoted daughter, Joyce Mayhew, her husband, John, and their son, Christopher, all of Xenia, Ohio; also several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held July 14 in the Stepney Baptist Church, Monroe, with the Rev George Britt, pastor, officiating.

Interment was in Stepney Village Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Trinity Community of Beavercreek, 3218 Indian Ripple Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45440, or to the Stepney Baptist Church, Book of Remembrance.

Arrangements were by the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Trumbull.
