Teikyo Post Expands Offerings For Fall
WATERBURY â This fall Teikyo Post Universityâs Division of Accelerated Degree Programs (ADP) offers current and prospective students expanded offerings: new courses, new certificate programs, and new graduate programs. ADP even has a new look in its media and electronic image, TPUGoalGetters.com.
Executive Director of Enrollment Management Claudia Nielsen says the new moniker âreflects the profile of our students, who are âgoal-getters,â and the easy access and path to completion of our programs. Our working adult students do achieve their educational goals at TPU, even when they balance work, school, and family responsibilities.â
Judith Slisz, dean of the Division of Accelerated Degree Programs, said the new courses reflect the needs of the student population at the university that will help them in their work environments.
âWe are also offering courses in entrepreneurship to meet the needs of working professionals whose business units a0re operating like small businesses or for people who totally opt out of the corporate environment to start new businesses,â Dean Slisz said.
Two new certificate programs will be offered this fall at TPU in childcare administration and courses and testing leading to the MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) and Microsoft Certification as professional webmaster.
Graduate programs will be offered in association with the University of New Haven in business administration and executive master of science in engineering management. The accelerated program can be completed in 22 months.
