Riccio Attends Salon International

Dan Riccio, director of Ricci’s Salon and Ricci’s Academy in Newtown, attended Salon International, the United Kingdom’s professional hair show in London, England, on October 9 through 12.

London’s Wembley Exhibition Centre is a world stage for the very best of British hairdressing talent. Dan Riccio attends the program every year to observe as the world’s most famous hair teams launch their very latest collections in the Salon environment.

The Salon seminar also allows the world’s top stylists to hone their skills from presentations by the world-renowned teams of Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy, and Rita Rusk, and to compete for the Salon trophy presented by Salon International and the National Hairdressers Federation. Dan Riccio invites these stylists to his Newtown salon every year to participate in the advanced training center he sponsors for hair stylists from the Greater Danbury area salons.

Mr Riccio also sponsors a “road show” for his stylists and graduates of Ricci’s Hairdressing Academy to train them on the styles and trends featured at the London show. This year’s road show is scheduled for October 25. The Salon International training enables Ricci’s Salon to offer its clients the latest in fashion trends and hair design.

Ricci’s reputation has earned the salon membership in Salon Unite.  Dan Riccio has received many awards for his innovative styles, including the Art and Fashion Master of the Craft Award which has been presented to only 10 stylists in the tri-state area.
