Widow & Widowers Group Forming

A nondenominational Widow & Widowers Group is forming in Newtown. The first meeting will be held at 7 pm on Wednesday, April 13, at 38 Church Hill Road.

Dessert and coffee will be served.

Barbara Terkildsen, who is organizing the group, said its purpose is purely social.

“We are not a bereavement group,” she said. “This group has to do with enjoying a social life so you don’t have to sit at home with the TV or go out by yourself.”
