Not Relocating

To the Editor:

In response to the front page article in The Bee on October 14 regarding the loss of leases of many neighboring businesses here at Sand Hill Plaza, I have received numerous phone calls concerning the status of my business, Avance Esthetiques Day Spa. I would like to reassure my clients, both current and future, that I have not been evicted from the mall area of Sand Hill Plaza and have been assured that my business will not be affected by the proposed changes that the owners have planned.

I would like to also respond to the letter from Mary Curran on October 25. I, too, am saddened to see many of my neighbors being affected by this proposed change. However, her decision to no longer patronize this plaza does not affect the landlord, it affects the remaining tenants! There are only a handful of businesses here that are “Mom & Pop” owners. When you shop here you are doing business with us, not the owners of the Plaza. We all have worked very hard for many years to run our businesses; please do not let your feelings for a large corporation affect your dealings with local business.
