Warrant Executed
After learning that police held a warrant for his arrest, Matthew Deluca, 17, of 2 Elm Drive turned himself over to police on May 27 and was charged with evading responsibility and with driving while under suspension in connection with a March 20 auto accident at the intersection of Queen Street and Church Hill Road, police said.
Police said they released Deluca on $100 bail for a June 10 appearance in Danbury Superior Court.
Drug Charges
After spotting Richard Pulver, 18, of 89 Poverty Hollow Road sitting on the curb outside Starbucks Coffee at 34 Church Hill Road on the evening of May 26, police said they served two outstanding arrest warrants against Pulver.
The charges listed in the two warrants are first degree failure to appear in court, second degree failure to appear in court, possession of narcotics, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. The charges stem from an incident last March, police said.
Police held Pulver on $5,000 bail overnight for an arraignment on the charges May 27 in Danbury Superior Court.
