*Holiday Craft Workshop: Marie Walker will conduct a holiday craft workshop for children ages 6 and up on Saturday, December 16, from 2 to 3 pm.

*Book Discussions: Join us for a discussion of The Blue Bedspread by Raj Kamal Jha on Monday, December 11, at 1 pm.
*Author Program: On Thursday, December 14, at 7:30 pm, local author Justin Scott will be at the library to talk about his new Ben Abbott mystery, McMansion.
Come learn whatâs happening in Newbury (Newtown), Connecticut. Books will be available for purchase at the time of the talk. Refreshments will be served. Please call to reserve a place as space is limited.
*Independent Film Series: This free series will continue with a screening of Hawaii, Oslo on Tuesday, December 12, at 7:30 pm.
Five stories about love are interwoven in Oslo during the hottest day of the year. Everyone is running from something, searching for something, or dreaming of something else on this destined day. The film is in Norwegian with subtitles, and has a running time of 124 minutes.
