Frances Brennan Joins Home Directions

RIDGEFIELD — Frances Brennan of Newtown has joined the office of Home Directions, inc, as a home inspector.

Mrs Brennan is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Connecticut and the state of New Jersey. She brings an extensive background to Home Directions including a degree in civil engineering from Rutgers University, years of experience in structural design, experience with residential construction and renovation, and an “in perspective” point of view to the home inspection (don’t sweat the small stuff, don’t miss the big stuff, and understand the difference).

Home Directions, inc is located in Ridgefield and serves all of Fairfield County and parts of Westchester County. In recent years Peter Seirup, founder and president of Home Directions, inc, and the staff at Home Directions have had to turn away home buyers who wanted the type of home inspection that only a professional engineer can provide. With the addition of Mrs Brennan they are now able to service more home buyers throughout the region.

Mrs Brennan and her husband Douglas have been residents of Newtown for 14 years. They have three children in the Newtown school system. In her spare time Mrs Brennan is a Girl Scout leader, teaches religious education and volunteers at Habitat for Humanity.
