STRATFORD 1, NAVIGATORS 0: In a weel-played, evenly-matched game, Stratford scored with less than three minutes to play to win. Julie Landin and Rachel Maley, though, managed to get off a shot from 15 yards out with seemed to deflect off a Stratford defender for the tying goal but the referee ruled that the goaltender had stopped the ball. Jaclyn Petrasanta and Christie Attansio led the defense and Bethany Morin was solid in goal.
NAVIGATORS 2, SEYMOUR 0: Racheky Maley, Harriet Morgan, Ashley Braun, Julie Landin and Katie Kirrane hustled all game long and Maley used her superior foot speed to beat the defense twice for breakaway goals. Caroline Kraich and Claire Ober smother the Seymour offense while Dana Schunter and Bethany Morin shared time in goal.
