Elizabeth (Bailey) Bernard
Elizabeth (Bailey) Bernard, 90, of Stamford, beloved wife of the late Edward J. Bernard, died March 3, at Saint Vincentâs Medical Center, Bridgeport.
Survivors include her two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and James Juliano of Newtown and Sandra and Paul Mercier of the Huntington section of Shelton; two sisters, Evelyn Kloster of Trumbull, and Mabel Kelly and her husband, Charles, of the Huntington section of Shelton; two beloved grandsons, Gregory Procaccini, Matthew Procaccini and his wife, Catherine; three great-grandchildren, Christopher, Kevin, and Melissa Procaccini; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Mildred Malasky, and three brothers, Ernest, Clifford, and Percy Bailey.Â
Mrs Bernard was born on June 15, 1914, in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Ernest and Eliza (Raabe) Bailey, and had been a lifetime area resident. She was a retired bridal consultant for DM Reads, a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Court Saint Cecelia, and an avid gardener.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial was held at Our Lady of Grace Church, Stratford, March 5. Interment followed in Saint Michaelâs Cemetery, Stratford.
