Checkpoint For Drunk Drivers

Police plan to conduct a driving sobriety checkpoint at an undisclosed location in town on the evening and night of Friday, May 19, to curb the incidence of drunken driving on local roads.

Seven police will be working to check the sobriety of drivers, according to Sergeant Christopher Vanghele.

The enforcement effort is funded by a federal grant.
