Beloved Mother, Sister, Aunt, And Friend

Doris “Nellie” Drown, 78, of Southbury, died peacefully December 14, at her home. She was born May 6, 1932, in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Ann Matthews Trevail and Silvanus Trevail.

Three children, including Duane Trevail of Newtown; three brothers and one sister; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews survive Mrs Drown. She was predeceased by her partner Red Westover and two brothers.

The family wishes to gratefully acknowledge the assistance and support of a wide network of friends, family, and health care professionals during her illness.

Calling hours are scheduled at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, Saturday, December 18, from 10 am to noon. A memorial service will be held at noon.
