Lenten Luncheon At Stepney Baptist

MONROE — For the 16th year Stepney Baptist Church, 423 Main Street in Monroe, will be serving lunch to the community through its Lenten Luncheon program. The luncheons will be held on Thursdays during Lent, beginning March 9 and continuing through April 13.

Each luncheon will begin at noon and will consist of homemade soup, sandwich, beverage and dessert. Following the meal there will be a short, devotional message. Donation for the meal is $4.50.

Everyone is invited and welcome to attend. Reservations are not necessary, but can be made by contacting the church office at 268-9680. In case of inclement weather, listen to radio station WICC (am 600) or call the church office.
