NEOA Fundraising Project Underway

Newtown police said that the Narcotic Enforcement Officers Association (NEOA) has started telephone solicitations in Newtown for a fundraising project.

The NEOA is a Wallingford-based private organization that supports local drug abuse prevention efforts by providing workbooks and pamphlets for the police department’s Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) program.

Police donate those educational materials free of charge to the public at forums and other events.
