Seminar Jan. 22 On Overcoming Depression
The Homesteads At Newtown Senior Living Community is hosting a seminar on overcoming âDisabling Depressionâ on Saturday, January 22, from 9 am to 11 am. Everyone is welcome to attend at no charge.
Speakers at the second annual âDisabling Depressionâ seminar will be the Rev Jim Solomon and Jean Lubus.
Rev Solomon, formerly an accountant and businessman, is a highly experienced and respected counselor to individuals, married couples, and families. He has developed more than 90 small groups, led by trained volunteers, which met to help people grow, both relationally and spiritually, throughout Fairfield County during his years serving at a large regional church in the area. He now serves as associate minister with Stepney Baptist Church.
Ms Lubus, LPC, LADC, is director of the Christian Counseling Center of Greater Danbury. She has over 21 years of experience working with high-risk children, adults, and families in the greater Danbury area. Ms Lubus also works at Danbury Youth Services as the outreach counselor.
