Patrick S.    McDonough
Patrick S. McDonough, 83, of Norwalk, husband of Anne (McGrath) McDonough, died December 13 in Norwalk Hospital.
He was the father of Pamela A. McDonough of Newtown.
Mr McDonough was born in Portland, Me., on March 4, 1917, son of the late Coleman and Delia (Flaherty) McDonough, and had resided in Norwalk most of his life. He was a retired Norwalk police officer, after 30 years of service. He was a US Army veteran of World War II, and served in the Pacific. He was a member of Frank C. Godfrey Post No. 12, American Legion; Knights of Columbus; PBA and the Connecticut State Police Association.
In addition to his wife and daughter, he is survived by two sons, Terrence S. McDonough of Stamford, and Kevin P. McDonough of Franklin, Mass.; a brother, John McDonough of Wilton; six grandchildren; and several nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on December 18 in St Philip Church in Norwalk. Interment was in St John Cemetery, Norwalk.
