Jennifer Honan to William Smith

 

Barry and Connie Honan of Madison announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Amy, to William Edward Anthony Smith, son of Jo-Ann Smith Dempsky of Newtown and the late William E. Smith.

The future bride graduated from Daniel Hand High School in 1991, Catholic University of America with a bachelor’s of arts in English and a minor in music performance, and Southern Connecticut State University with a master’s of arts in English literature. She is employed as a high school English teacher at The Morgan School in Clinton and as a private violin instructor.

The future groom graduated from Newtown High in 1991 and the Catholic University of America with a bachelor’s of arts in financial management. He is employed by Pioneer Resort and Marina in Oshkosh, Wis. as a harbor master and captain.

A wedding is planned for June 2000 on Block Island.
