Carol (Chiocsky) Webb, 72, died March 28 at Danbury Hospital in Danbury. She was the wife of Allan G. Webb. She was born December 23, 1934, in Hastings on the Hudson, N.Y., daughter of John and Wanda (Savinski) Chiocsky.

Mrs Webb worked as a typesetter at The Newtown Bee for many years.

She graduated from Hastings on the Hudson High School, and resided in Woodbury for three years, previously living in Southbury for 43 years.

Besides her husband of 52 years, she leaves a son, Christopher John Webb of Aransas Pass, Texas; a daughter, Deborah Joan Webb of Southbury; and a sister, Wanda Clark, of Poughquag, N.Y. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Jessica April Webb and Elena Webb; and a great-grandson, Gregory Petro. She was predeceased by a brother, John Chiocsky; and a sister, Maryann Palmer.

All services will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.

The Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main Street North, is in charge of arrangements.
