A. Jeanette (Dahl) Boylan, 77, of Holden, Mass., died November 11 at the Shrewsbury Nursing Home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Robert J. Boylan.Â
Besides her husband of 54 years, she leaves four children, Peggy and her husband, Al Bowers, of Sandy Hook, Linda and her husband, Thomas Beaton, of Boxford, Mass., Michael Boylan of Holden, and Kathi Boylan of Worcester, Mass.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mildred Brown and Jean Creamer, both of Hudson, Fla., and Sandra Garfield of Westfield, Mass.; and many nieces and nephews. Her sister Ruth Kobel predeceased her.
She was born in Shrewsbury, Mass., daughter of Victor and Agnes (Pihl) Dahl. She was educated in Worcester schools and graduated from Commerce High School, Worcester. She worked at the Crown Bakery in Worcester for many years before her retirement.
Mrs Boylan was very artistic and a creative thinker. She loved her extended family and was especially happy being âNana.â She and her husband enjoyed traveling, the beach, going on walks, bowling, and playing cards.
Funeral services were held November 15 with a Mass in St Georgeâs Church, Worcester. Burial was in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, Mass.
The family suggests memorial donations to the National Parkinson Foundation, 1501 NW 9th Avenue/Bob Hope Road, Miami FL 33136-1494.
