If you haven’t entered the Bertram Stroock Tennis Tournament, you may still do so if you can get your entry to tournament director Martin West at 364-0894 by Saturday night at the Newtown Tennis Association barbecue at Dickinson Park.

The party is scheduled for 5 pm, until dark, with hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, tennis balls and beverages furnished. All you need is to bring a salad or dessert and call Mr West to let him know you will be there.

The Stroock draw sheets have been delayed a week and this there is still time for last minute entries in any of the seven events – men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s B singles, men’s and women’s doubles, and mixed doubles.

Cost is $10 per division, $15 for two, and $20 for three.
