Community Presbyterian Vacation Bible School

Community Presbyterian Church in Newtown is sponsoring Daily Vacation Bible School (DVBS) from 9:15 am to noon, Monday, July 30, through Friday, August 3, for children of Newtown and surrounding towns.

For the seventh annual DVBS, the theme will be “The Race Is On.” The week will include music, Bible lesson, crafts, and refreshments. Classes will have teachers and assistants, and grades will range from kindergarten through middle school. In addition to Newtown and Sandy Hook, previous DVBS attendees have come from Danbury, Bethel, Monroe, Southbury, and Ridgefield.
