Family Concert For Halloween

RIDGEFIELD – The Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra will offer a bag full of tricks and treats at its October 17 Halloween family concert, “Phantoms and Fables.”

The special one-hour concert will feature Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, narrated by Giustino Capodilupo. The symphonic fairy tale provides the perfect setting for children to experience a live symphony orchestra.

Maestro Sidney Rothstein has concocted a zany witch’s brew to also include music from Phantom of the Opera and selections from Star Wars. The concert is sure to put both children and adults in the Halloween spirit.

The concert begins at 3 pm in Anne Richardson Auditorium at Ridgefield High School.

A ticket is required for each child, regardless of age, and an adult must accompany all children. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children and can be purchased or reserved by calling Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra at 438-3889.
