The FrameWorks Gallery (Koenig FrameWorks) is announces the call for artist submissions for its upcoming show, “Small Works, Inside The Box.” The gallery will be made into a grid of 12-inch squares, each hosting a piece of art, so each piece including framing, cannot exceed the size of the square.

All mediums including, but not limited to acrylic, oil, watercolor, mixed media, pen and ink, charcoal, pastel, etchings, photography and monoprint will be accepted.  Sculpture and three dimensional art will not be accepted. Submissions will be accepted until October 20 at the gallery, 97 South Main Street in Newtown.

“SmallWorks, Inside The Box” will open with a reception on Saturday, November 8, from 1 to 4 pm. It will remain on view through December 24.

The FrameWorks Gallery (Koenig FrameWorks) is a picture framing and art galley. While its core business is picture framing, FrameWorks maintains an inherent desire and passion to participate in the support, cultivation and promotion of the arts. Fine art and photography shows are routinely held in its gallery open to artists with varying degrees of experience and form.
