Love And Friendship

To the Editor:

We are writing this letter to express our deep gratitude and appreciation for the tribute dinner held last Saturday at the United Fire Company of Botsford. It was a bittersweet night for us; our sorrow and joy were inseparable.  While we felt Jeffry’s loss we also found comfort in this beautiful evening. It was a truly heartwarming occasion.

The outpouring of love, friendship and support for our family created a powerful energy that was felt by all throughout the evening.  The generosity of family and friends who loved Jeff was extremely overwhelming. 

Heartfelt thanks for my dear friends Barbara Jagoe, Nan Jane Keough and their dedicated committee who gave so much and made this event so incredible. We also want to give thanks to the United Fire Company for providing their firehouse, to the delightful music provided by No More Roam’in, and to everyone who donated items and services for the silent auction.  They were truly amazing. 

We are thankful to have been blessed with Jeffry.  He touched so many lives and we are certain that his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of many people in the days to follow.
