BROOKFIELD — The Housatonic Valley group of the Sierra Club will host a program on invasive plants and their dangers to native plants.

On September 27, at 7:30 pm, Greg Waters of the National Park Service will present a program on “Invasive Plants in Connecticut,” a growing concern crowding native plants and animals. His slide show will identify invasive plants, and inform about long-term measures to prevent their spreading.

All are invited. The program will be held at Brookfield Community Center, at 100 Pocono Road.
