Mary J. Saleski, 90, of Danbury, beloved wife of the late Adam W. Saleski, died May 31 at her home with her family by her side. Mrs Saleski was born in Danbury on December 24, 1915, the daughter of Michael and Barbara (Nachajski) Czajka.
A son, Robert Saleski and his wife, Teri, of Hawleyville; a daughter, Marianne Riordan and her husband, William, of Marco Island, Fla.; a granddaughter, Starr Saleski of Hoboken, N.J.; and a niece, Barbara Waterbury of Danbury, survive her. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Czajka.
Mrs Saleski was a graduate of Danbury High School Class of 1933 and worked for many years as a dental nurse for her cousin, the late Dr Edward Czajka, Sr, of Danbury. She was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and its Ladies Guild. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker who was totally dedicated to her family and took great pride in all they accomplished.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church on June 3. Burial was in St Peter Cemetery.
