Five Charges

Police report that at about 4:30 pm on November 6, they stopped motorist William Falbo, 29, of 13 Bishop Circle near the intersection of Pole Bridge Road and Jeremiah Road for having been speeding on Berkshire Road.

After investigating, police charged Falbo with speeding, making an improper turn, illegal possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics not in their original prescription container, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

After processing, Falbo was released on $500 bail for a November 27 appearance in Danbury Superior Court.

Berkshire Crash

Motorist Joseph Gilbert, 21 of Brookfield was driving a 2008 Scion TC coupe about westward near 107 Berkshire Road about 11:35 am on November 7, when he attempted to stop for traffic conditions, police said.

But Gilbert lost control of the Scion and struck a curbside residential mailbox along the right road shoulder, police report.

Gilbert was not injured. Police said they issued him a written warning for traveling unreasonably fast.

Sandy Hook Accident

A two-vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Berkshire Road, Bennetts Bridge Road, and Grays Plain Road about 6:22 pm on November 3, police report.

The collision involved motorist Paul Fenaroli, 24, of 63 Tomahawk Trail, who was driving a 2002 Toyota Camry sedan, and motorist Amy Gallagher, 29, of Shelton, who was driving a 2008 Honda CRV SUV, according to police.

There were no injuries. Police said they gave Fenaroli a written warning for failure to yield at a stop sign.

Mt Pleasant Road

Police said that at about 2:26 am on November 9, they stopped motorist Luz Perez-Castillo, 30, of Bridgeport on Mt Pleasant Road to investigate.

Police said they learned that there was a pending warrant against Perez-Castillo, after which they charged Perez-Castillo with failure to respond to an infraction and with violation of a City of Bridgeport ordinance.

After processing, Perez-Castillo was released on $100 bail for a November 26 court appearance.

Wasserman Way

At about 7:07 am on November 1, motorist Jane Luongo, 47, of 9 Main Street was driving a 2008 Subaru Legacy sedan eastward near 100 Wasserman Way, when a deer entered the road, resulting in a collision, police report. There were no injuries. Police took no enforcement.

SUV Vs SUV

About 4:45 pm on November 8, an accident involving two SUVs took place near 59 High Rock Road, according to police.

Motorist Victoria Maresca, 60, of 80 Great Ring Road was driving a 2012 Acura RDX SUV southward on High Rock Road, as motorist Katherine Petty, 46, of 59 High Rock Road, who was driving a 2011 Jeep Wrangler SUV, was attempting to exit the driveway at that address and enter High Rock Road, police said.

The two vehicles collided. There were no injuries. Petty received a written warning for failure to grant the right of way, police said.

Two Violations

Police said that they made a traffic stop at about 6:26 am on November 8 near the intersection of Walnut Tree Hill Road and Elizabeth Circle in which they charged motorist James Randall. 32, of Seymour with failure to obey a traffic control signal and with driving under suspension. Randall was released on a written promise to appear in court on November 20.

Flagpole Intersection

A two-vehicle accident occurred at the flagpole intersection of Main Street, Church Hill Road, and West Street about 9:30 pm on November 8.

Police said motorist Robert Geriak, 69, of Bethel, who was driving a 1997 Volvo 850 station wagon, drove westward from Church Hill Road toward West Street, but in doing so Geriak collided with motorist Christine Wilson, 66, of Monroe, who was driving a 2011 Honda CRV SUV.

There were no injuries. Geriak received an infraction for failure to grant the right of way at a stop sign.
