‘Unity In Diversity’

Corpus Christi Faith Community will present Unity In Diversity with host the Reverend Leo McIlrath on Charter Cable Television, Channel 21. On December 12 and 14, Pastor Jack Lynch of the Real Life Church of the Nazarene in Danbury will talk about his personal walk and ministry among people suffering from addictions.

The 2005 Danbury Interfaith Thanksgiving Service on December 19 and 21 will feature representatives of Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Bahai, Unitarianism, as well as local Catholic and Protestant communities

This program will be followed on December 26 and 28 by Dr Bridget Mary Meehan with a focus on her program out of Richmaond, Virginia, “God Talk.” This series will feature a “Look at Pope Benedict XVI” and “A Christian’s Concern About The Devastation of AIDS.”

Each week programs can be seen at noon on Mondays and at 5:30 pm on Wednesdays throughout the 14 towns of the Charter viewing area. Programs will also be aired on Comcast Cable (Channel 23), on Wednesdays and Fridays at 6 pm and noon, respectively.

Unity in Diversity encourages all people to take the opportunity to learn about their neighbors of other faiths, as well as their own, in a nonthreatening way. “If we really know one another, we have a better opportunity to love one another,” said Rev McIlrath.
