Supporting The Team

To the Editor:

First, we would like to thank Newtown Nail Spa for allowing our Relay For Life team to conduct a fundraiser on May 18. As this was two days before the prom it happened to be quite a busy day. We are appreciative of their generous donation and their efforts in assisting our team to make this fundraiser for Newtown’s Relay For Life such a success.

Second, on Saturday, May 28, our team hosted a fun evening of live acoustic jazz fusion, with all donations benefiting the American Cancer Society. It was a wonderful evening and would not have been made possible without the very generous outpouring of donations from our guests and the following businesses: Sundad Band for providing the music; Villarina’s Pasta Shop for donating a beautiful gift basket for our raffle; Newtown Deli & Catering, Rudy’s Gourmet, and Body & Soul Natural Food Store for donating the incredibly delicious appetizers; Prestige Wine Co. and Big Y for donating our beverages; Kelly Lametto for providing paper goods; and Just A Buck for donation balloons.
