Leverage Wins Design Awards

The Leverage Marketing Services of Newtown, marketing communications and promotions firm integrating business-to-business and consumer disciplines, was awarded five 2003 American Graphic Design Awards.

The winning categories include Package Design, Direct Mail Promotion, Print Advertising, Investor Relations, and Brand Identity. This is now the sixth year in a row the Connecticut agency has been recognized by Graphic Design: usa and its award judges for continued “Excellence in Communication and Graphic Design.”

“We are especially proud to win this year,” said agency principal David Goodwick. “Of our eight submissions, five were judged winners,” he said. Winning entries include the current “Business Case” ad campaign for Cendant Mobility of Danbury, and the 2002 Annual Report for Photronics, Inc, of Brookfield.

The awards competition, sponsored by the international commercial arts publication, Graphic Design: usa, is one of the most prestigious and well-known in the industry. Leverage was among 10,000 entrants and fewer than 700 winning Ad and MarCom design groups, according to awards director Laura K. Roth.

Additionally, the agency was honored in several other recent competitions, including: the Adrian Advertising Award (Convention Industry Council); the Business Marketing Association’s Pro-Comm Award of Excellence (Colman’s Mustard); the Harvey Communication Measurement Award (Sealed Air Corp.); and the PriMedia Award for Advertising Excellence (Fairfield Processing).
