Correction

An article in last week’s Bee about the selectmen’s budget deliberations incorrectly stated that First Selectman Herb Rosenthal hoped to get the municipal side of the budget down to a three percent increase. Mr Rosenthal said he hoped to reduce the existing six-plus percent increase by three percent before submitting the package to the Board of Finance for its review.
